Short answer: for most Meta Quest 3 and 3S players, the best VR golf club attachment is a full-length, weighted handle that GOLF+ supports and that leaves the controller's tracking ring in view. In our DriVR line that is the DriVR Apex, our newest design. If your ceiling is low, pick the DriVR Elite Mini; for the simplest short handle, the DriVR Ace.
Disclosure: DeadEyeVR designs and sells the DriVR clubs in this guide.
What to look for in a VR golf club attachment
- Length and ceiling height. A longer club moves the center of gravity away from your hands, like a real club, but needs more room. In a tight room or under an 8 ft ceiling, a shorter club is safer.
- Weight and balance. Adjustable weights let you tune swing weight. A bare controller weighs almost nothing, which is why swings feel off.
- Tracking. Quest 3 and 3S controllers track their LED ring with the headset cameras. Open-face or reverse-cup mounts keep the ring visible so the club doesn't jump mid-swing.
- Game support. DriVR clubs are built into GOLF+: pick the club from the in-game controller attachments menu so the virtual club lines up with the real one.
- Grip. A molded or pro golf grip makes the swing feel natural. Putter grips suit mini golf.
- Haptics (optional). The Snaptic Module adds a physical impact on drives and putts and fits most VR golf clubs.

Which one should you choose?
- You want the closest thing to a real club: DriVR Apex, or an Elite Chrome / Gold for a flexible steel shaft.
- You still play on Quest 2: a DriVR Elite model (Apex and Ace are built for Quest 3, 3S and Pro controllers).
- Your ceiling is low or your room is small: DriVR Elite Mini, or the Ace.
- You mostly play mini golf: DriVR Elite Putter.

FAQ
Do DriVR clubs work with Quest 3S?
Yes. The Apex, Ace and every Elite model support Quest 3 and 3S controllers.
Will the club block my controller's tracking?
DriVR mounts are designed around Quest tracking: the Apex and Ace use an open face and the Elite line uses a reverse controller cup, so the headset can see the controller's LEDs.
Is it safe to swing a full-length VR club indoors?
Clear your playspace and check your ceiling height first. If space is tight, choose a shorter club such as the Elite Mini or Ace.
Can I add haptic feedback?
Yes. The Snaptic Module clamps onto the shaft and strikes it as your club reaches the ball, on drives and putts.
What if it doesn't suit me?
You can return products within 30 days of purchase. See our FAQ for details.
