In my excitement to find boxing gloves to use with the Quest VR headset, I didn't read carefully that this was for Quest 2, and I realized too late that I had Quest 3. Whoops! I admit I haven't even played with the headset since I got it, as I vastly prefer doing things "IRL" as the kids say, and I box and kickbox at my gym almost every day. These gloves look like a regular pair of bag gloves, so I thought I'd try them out IRL, lol! They are great for hitting the double-end bag and the heavy bag. I threw a Superman punch just for s***s and giggles. Fun! Of course, I can't say how good they are with the Quest 2 headset, but I imagine they would be okay if they didn't interfere with using the controllers comfortably. If I were playing a boxing game in VR, I'd rather not wear gloves but do it barehand like shadowboxing. I think it would be easier to grip and use the controllers without gloves on. Unless they were weighted gloves, which would give a better workout. But these are super light. They are fully functional IRL, though! 🥊
I am an avid Supernatural user on Oculus. Supernatural is a workout program that leads you in boxing, sword swinging, and meditation all done in VR to your choice of music. A great way to get cardio. I really enjoy boxing as it gets the peak target heart rate, works up a heck of a sweat, and makes time fly by. Before you know it you have an hour workout in and you don't even realize it. When these gloves popped up on my feed I just HAD to have them. Two reasons, one that is probably not advertised by the seller or manufacturer. 1) Realism - Holding the controllers in each hand, although with a very tight grip, doesn't give the 'feel' of boxing. These boxing gloves hold the controllers FOR you and don't require to to be sure they don't fly across the room. 2) Protection - I have on many occasions gotten a bit carried away at times and punched shelves, walls, and even sent a floor lamp flying across the room at a hotel (Yes, I pack my Oculus on business trips). These gloves will prevent your hand from getting split open, bruised, or broken. Obviously, the seller can't guarantee this, but I can say it with certainty and proof. The ONLY bad part about these gloves is that I have very large hands. They don't fit completely on my hand as they should. Everyone else in my house had no problem wearing them, but for my hands, they are just too small to fit correctly. Do I still wear them? Yes. Some protection is better than none. Small to average hands and you do VR boxing? Jump on these! Worth every penny!
This pair of Ultimate Boxing Gloves - Updated Version and Improved Model for VR comfortable on the hands easy to put on and much easier to attached your controllers putting you right into the game. The build quality of the gloves are light lightweight sparring gloves. The gloves provide great protection from injury, and from damaging your VR. They fit my hands perfectly because of their realism and ease of putting on and taking off the gloves have proven to be a really good value. I love playing the VR boxing games and these upgraded gloves work perfectly.
Was playing TOTF one day, and started thinking, hmm...I wonder if anyone makes boxing gloves that would work with the controller. I immediately jumped on Amazon, and DeadEveVR was the only company that had anything remotely close to what I was looking for. Having played a few rounds with the gloves now, I have noticed I am way more engaged in the fight then before, and it feels more natural than punching the air with a controller. 10/10 will recommend, and would definitely buy again!
I use VR to work out on days when I cannot be out in nature due to weather or scheduling. Boxing is one of my favorites. However, using the standard controllers do not fully immerse you into the game; and there is always the possibility of slamming them against your headset (I wouldn't know....LOL). However, these boxing glove controllers not only immerse you into the game, they protect you against accidental strikes to your headset or objects in the environment and aid in maintaining possession of the controllers during gameplay. They fit great and are easy to use... the quality of the gloves are good too.... they're are more like sparring gloves or padded mixed martial arts gloves than full fledge boxing gloves but anything more would be unnecessary overkill. I am really enjoying the immersive novelty of them and they really hype me up for a workout!
Gloves are pretty nice, the opening on the fingers should be a bit larger and should probably weigh a bit more for a more complete workout and burn more calories. But overall they are good
These were super cool for my friends VR set. He loves to play boxing games and I thought these would make it feel more realistic. They are are great fit for him, comfortable, and aren't too heavy. He loves these and make the game more fun for him.
These VR boxing gloves are an awesome addition to my Meta Quest 2 setup! They fit comfortably, stay secure during intense matches, and make the whole experience feel way more immersive. Motion tracking works great, and they help protect the controllers from accidental hits. The adjustable straps are a nice touch, so they work for different hand sizes. If you're into VR boxing games like Thrill of the Fight, these are totally worth it!
I ordered this item and was provided a refund that was received. This was after not seeing the item for two months and it finally shows up 5 months almost later. I submitted multiple tickets to the company with no response back. I don’t now recommend this item the quality of the items are terrible and both the rifle stock and gloves were missing parts and poorly designed.
My husband loved it!!! It fit perfectly! He use it for the boxing and ufc games … and it’s great to lose weight… a hour a day with these on and a vr game you cutting so many calories playing … this site is legit I will be ordering different things from this site now that I know it’s a real site …
These boxing gloves perform as promised and more! In addition to the apps they’re advertised for, I don’t have to remove them, because I can calibrate the paddles in Eleven so that I can use some table tennis as a warmup. Without any calibration whatsoever I’m able to wear them while playing Beat Saber and Supernatural. Not only are they fun, but I’m now free of clumsy knuckle bangs from colliding with my controllers during complex maneuvers. And of course I don’t have to keep cinching up the retainer straps to secure the controllers. And did I say the gloves are fun?
Dope gloves! They work great for Thrill of the Fight! Now that I'm used to these it feels really awkward not using them. Like they make you realize punching the air without gloves on feels really weird. If you're a totf fan you should absolutely check these out!
I like using these for FitXR as they make the punching just a bit more fun. They handle the punches well (though you could argue they aren't going through much abuse since they're just punching air but :/). They feel nice and I felt the price was fair
I bought these for thrill of the fight and they work well. They feel high quality, the controller doesn't feel like it's going to fly off, and being able to use the controller with the gloves on is useful for menus. Good buy all in all
Saw these on reddit and decided to make the jump. Was not dissapointed. Gloves are nice. Thumb cutouts seemed unusual at first but once you realize how nice it is not to take your gloves off to navigate in game they become a definite advantage
I really like playing Thrill of the Fight so I was thrilled (*ba dum tss) when I saw these! They're great, they make TOTF much more fun. They make it feel like I'm actually boxing and not just punching the air with my controllers!
